Coinciding with the Asian Games in Hangzhou, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Senior High School Division held a broadcast gymnastics competition for the tenth grade students on 24th September, which was also the warm-up and prelude for the Senior High School Division to participate in the school's upcoming sports meeting.
First and foremost, the Senior High School Division attached great significance to this competition and has formulated a detailed competition plan. Also, department leaders and PE teachers of the Senior High School Division served as judges. The competition consists of three parts: entry, exercise and exit. Before the competition, each class made full preparation and training.
Specifically, before the competition, the students dressed in school uniforms in high spirits, walking neatly into the designated field, whose loud slogans, powerful movements and high spirit were impressive; When doing exercises, with the light rhythm of the broadcast gymnastics, students' movements were standard, powerful and beautiful. They raised their hands, bent down, turned around and jumped neatly, with their actions full of confidence, fully demonstrating the youth and vitality of contemporary teenagers. On the other hand, the judges rated in terms of entry and exit, clothing, quality of exercise, mental outlook, and the number of participants. After the fierce competition, the judges selected the winners of the first, second, third and fourth prizes. More noticeably, two classes tied for first and fourth places.
Furthermore, Principal Assistant Xu Zuitai delivered a keynote speech in which he pointed out that this competition not only examined the effect of broadcast gymnastics teaching during military training, but also promoted the development of sunshine sports activities; Meanwhile, this competition built a platform for each class to display strength, unity, health and positive energy, which reinforced the class cohesion, cultivated students' sense of organization, discipline, collective honor, and demonstrated the sunny, healthy and enterprising spirit of our students.
